Overview

Don't delay or miss the sailing season - this boat is ready to go now! Looking for offers

High Res Photos available - see below.

This is a one owner, Bruce Farr design Beneteau 50. The layout is the 2-cabin version (master stateroom forward, and guest stateroom aft to port) She is loaded with performance and cruising upgrades, and has a beautiful dark blue topsides Awlgrip paint job. This boat is ready to take you wherever you want to go!

Step through the transom gate up into the helm area - a split backstay with twin helms make an easy entry into the roomy cockpit. Instruments and winches are located close to each helm for easy and safe singlehanding. Line and fender storage is located below the port helm seat and a propane locker is under the starboard seat. A stainless steel transom arch serves as your dinghy davits and support for the satellite TV and satellite internet domes, as well as the VHF and HF radio antennae.

Forward of the helms, the enormous cockpit comfortably seats 10 with a beautiful varnished cockpit table in the center. A sizable cockpit lazarette/technical room to starboard houses tool storage, the 7kw Panda generator and the watermaker.

Down the companionway we find a massive galley to starboard complete with top loading freezer, front loading refrigerator, three burner stove, oven and lots of storage. The ice maker is located forward of the main salon, near the main bulkhead.

To port we find a proper nav station with chart table, aft facing seating and all redundant displays for our navigation instruments (as well as VHF, SSB, electrical panels, etc). Aft of the nav station is the guest stateroom and guest head (all heads are fresh water electric flush). Both the cabin and head are very comfortably sized, with tons of storage and room to move around.

Forward of the galley and nav station is the main salon. The flat screen TV mounted to the main bulkhead is complemented by a DVD player, DirectTV receiver and all other controls elegantly stored in the port corner of the cabin. The salon comfortably seats 7 around the sizeable salon table, with an additional 3-seat settee to starboard. Both side settees convert to single berths. This is an enormous space with lots of seating and lacks nothing in the way of entertainment.

Further forward we find the master stateroom with en suite head, hanging lockers to port and starboard, four large drawers below the massive berth and additional storage flanking the berth. Plenty of hatches create a very well-lit space, or close the blinds and quickly convert it into a private area.

Through the forward deck hatch we access the forepeak space. Down below we find a very spacious storage area, ideal for sails, tools, additional rigging, or anything else you need for your cruising lifestyle. Additional shelving makes this a perfect place for more gear!

The 2014 cruising season is about to begin, and with the Pacific Cup coming up this July, there's no better time to start living your dream. Get a head start with this Beneteau 50 - loaded with all the features you need for a succesful cruising adventure!
