Vessel Walkthrough

Exterior:

When approaching the yacht, you'll immediately be impressed by her beautiful Downeast lines, striking blue hull and white superstructure, and the extended hardtop.

Boarding through the transom door, you enter the deep aft cockpit with plenty of room for additional seating, the cockpit is a great place to spend time outside. An outdoor sink and prep space sits above a small storage cabinet with a built in ice-maker.

Beneath your feet are three large lazarettes deep enough for fenders, chairs, toys, or even a SeaKeeper Gyro if you were inclined to have one installed.

A comfortable staircase leads to the fly bridge, and wide side decks with well placed 1" stainless steel hand rails provide access to the bow.

The optional extended hard top not only houses the dinghy and electric davit, but also allows for shaded outdoor seating.

Easily adapted for warm or cold climates, the extended hard top would allow for full wrap around screens or windows, though at this time, none have been fitted.

The fly bridge is a wonderful size for a skipper and 4-6 adults to spend time while underway. The new canvas/eisenglass enclosure can be opened on warm days, but allows for all season cruising from the upper helm station, while not sacrificing any visibility.

A full suit of engine controls and navigational equipment completes this helm station. Aft of the enclosure lives the electronics mast and the dinghy davit and AB inflatable aluminum hard bottomed dinghy.

On the bow, a long cabin top would make for a great lounge area while at anchor, and also ensures that going forward while underway is easy. Additional storage and exterior windlass controls are located forward.

Interior:

As you would expect of a Sabre Yacht, her interior is gorgeous. Rich, satin finished woods combined with very well maintained soft goods make for a warm, cozy interior.

After entering the aft salon door, you will find two club chairs and a side table to starboard and a leather L-shaped settee with dining table to port.

All windows have blinds or covers, and the salon lighting is dimmable.

The helm seat is a leather upholstered bench large enough for two, which also folds to create a more open salon feel when not in use.

A fold out side table to port could act as a location for a television, or as a desk, but allows for a variety of options and configurations.

A well appointed bar is a great feature of this layout, and although Mary Shaw's bar inventory is not included, you will find an excellent location for your own, under the chart table to port.

The lower helm station boasts a full array of navigational equipment and mechanical and electrical controls. In addition, excellent visibility, a large sliding helm door, and a connection to those in the galley and salon, make this a great place to operate this fine yacht while underway.

Descending the staircase, you enter the galley to port. Having a galley down layout maximizes the salon size and allows for better visibility while underway, but with the open air ceiling, this yacht's galley remains connected to the social spaces of the interior.

A well appointed galley contains a SubZero refrigerator/freezer, an propane two burner stove, and stainless steel microwave. A deep dual basin stainless steel sink, integrated garbage, and ample clever storage makes this a very functional galley for a weekend cruise or month long voyage.

To starboard, a guest cabin also acts as a lower lounge. A simple cabin with multiple berth layouts, the door configuration makes the space feel very open when not in use as a private cabin.

Walking forward, and to port, is the head with separate shower. This head has two separate entrances; one from the hallway for guest access and day use, and the other from the master cabin.

The master cabin is even more than you would expect of a 42' Sabre. With great access around the large double berth, getting in and out of bed is very comfortable, and making the bed couldn't be easier.

Tall, cedar lined hanging lockers and many drawers provide excellent storage for clothes, bedding, and anything else you might need.

Truly in excellent condition, even her bilges are spotless. You will be very comfortable aboard this beautiful yacht.
